Delaware has three counties, New Castle, Kent and Sussex.

Our moderate and pleasant climate averages 54 degrees all year, from a low average of 31 in January to 76 in mid July.

Delaware provides a variety of leisure time offerings, including world-class museums, historic sites, gardens, performing arts, unique festivals and many special events. Extensive outdoor activities with the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay close by. Camping, boating, State Parks and National Wildlife areas for horseback riding, hiking, hunting and fishing and shellfishing, are all at your doorstep. Delawares three race tracks, Delaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway, host a variety of harness and thoroughbred racing and also Casinos. Dover Downs hosts two Winston Cup stock car races each year. Delaware’s TAX FREE shopping is a great pastime that brings many out of state shoppers. National Historic areas, major sporting and cultural events are all within a two hour commute.
